Aakansha is a law graduate from University of Delhi and has spent close to 20 years with large corporates leading and supporting in-house legal function. Held senior positions with reputed corporates across diverse sectors ranging from Technology, Product, Travel, Fintech, Ecommerce i.e., MakeMyTrip, Oxigen Services, Club Factory, Blue Label Telecom, Hotel Travel, Easy to Book.
She has excellence in identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks, developing / implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. She has successfully supported businesses all through the legal process setting-up and handled very complex and strategically critical corporate actions, litigation, regulatory investigations spanning in the areas of corporate law, transaction law, M&A, IPRs, FDI, investment process, technology issues, regulatory matters, arbitration. Her expertise areas are Fin-tech laws, E-commerce, Ed-tech, Information Technology, Intellectual Property Laws and Corporate Transactions.
Before embarking on the journey of starting her own Law Firm – Amura Advisors, she worked with reputed corporates across diverse sectors ranging from Technology, Product, Travel, Fintech, Ecommerce and successfully supported businesses all through in the legal process set-up and handled very complex corporate matters including strategically critical litigation, commercial arbitration, Government Department Investigations. Both during her term with Oxigen Services (India) private Limited Group and in her present assignments, she engages in legal advisory to organizations on government guidelines vis-à-vis Payment & Settlement Act, PPI, BBPS, Payment Aggregator, Rupay Card guidelines etc., amongst other related polices. Actively guides and pursues licensing applications before RBI in addition to working on policies and procedures to provide guidelines on related compliance.
